Directional Drilling / Grand Traverse County, MI

Directional Drilling in Traverse City

Our shop is in Williamsburg, a short drive east of Traverse City. Town is where a lot of our work is.

Most jobs here are a water line, power, or internet out to a garage or shop, or a run under a driveway. We bore it instead of trenching it, so the lawn and the driveway stay as they are.

Typical bore up to 150 ft: $3,000, done in a day or less. Free estimates.

If it belongs underground, we can usually get it there without a trench.

How it works

  1. 1

    Find what's already buried

MISS DIG marks the public utilities. Our locating specialist finds the private lines they won't mark, and the hydrovac exposes anything we need to cross.

  2. 2

    Dig two small pits

One where the drill goes in and one where it comes out. That's all the digging there is.

  3. 3

    Drill the path

The drill steers a head underground from pit to pit, under the lawn, trees, driveway, or road.

  4. 4

    Pull the line back

Your pipe or conduit gets pulled back through. We fill the pits, clean up, and go home.
